LAHORE: Nov 4 (Digital Itla) — Authorities in Punjab have initiated judicial proceedings against traffic rule violators who have failed to pay their pending e-challans, officials said on Wednesday.
According to traffic police officials, court summons will be dispatched to individuals who fail to clear their e-challan fines within a 10-day period. In the second phase of the crackdown, further legal actions, including vehicle impoundment and formal legal charges, will be pursued.
To assist the public and facilitate court procedures, dedicated traffic wardens have been deployed across all district courts.
