Operation by Post Chak Bahadur: ASI Dr. Tanveer-ul-Islam Apprehends Suspect Shakeel Ahmad During Checking

Chiniot / Faisalabad: October 27 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Patrolling Police Chiniot successfully apprehended an individual carrying an illegal weapon during a routine snap-checking operation, recovering firearms and ammunition from his possession.

According to details, In-charge Patrolling Post Chak Bahadur, ASI Dr. Tanveer-ul-Islam, along with his police team, intercepted a suspicious individual identified as Muhammad Shakeel Ahmad. Upon body search, the team recovered an unauthorized 30-bore pistol, along with a magazine and two live rounds.

The suspect was immediately taken into custody and handed over to the local police. A formal case (FIR No. 775/26) has been registered against the accused at Chenab Nagar Police Station under Section 13-2(a) of the Punjab Arms (Amendment) Act 2015, with further legal proceedings currently underway.
