"I am at the top of Iran's hit list," says Trump

(Digital Itla) US President Donald Trump has stated that his life is in danger and his name tops Iran's hit list. Speaking to the media in Ankara, the US President remarked that the presidency is the most dangerous profession in America. He claimed he has accomplished things no other president could, which is why he is on the hit list, adding that such threats will not deter his actions.

He emphasized that the US does not want a prolonged war with Iran. "Iran attacked naval vessels, and we responded. We answer Iran in their own language. If Iran attacks, we respond 10 times stronger. Whatever happens regarding Iran will happen quickly; we do not want a long war," he said.

During a media briefing on the occasion of his meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Ankara, President Trump stated that the ceasefire with Iran has ended and dealing with Iran is a waste of time. He noted that Iran attacked vessels with drones and rockets yesterday, describing Iran's behavior as very bad and a continuation of what they have been doing for 47 years. He clarified that his goal was not regime change in Iran, but rather stopping them from acquiring nuclear weapons, adding that regime change has already occurred in Iran as their leadership has been knocked out. Trump asserted that Iran has harassed the Middle East for 47 years but will no longer be able to trouble anyone, claiming the Iranian Air Force and Navy have been completely destroyed. He accused them of violating agreements on a daily basis and called them liars.
