Major US Military Airstrikes in Various Regions of Iran

(Digital Itla) The US military, acting on special directives from President Trump, has launched full-scale aerial operations against Iran. In this regard, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that they have initiated further strikes against Iran to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to CENTCOM, targets posing a threat in the Strait of Hormuz are being hit in response to Iran's unjustified attacks on naval vessels and its recent aggression. Speaking to Axios, a US official confirmed that Iranian military targets around the Strait of Hormuz are being targeted, including the coastal radars of the Revolutionary Guards. The official added that anti-ship missile sites and air defense systems are among the targets, noting that the scope of today's attacks is broader than those carried out in recent days.

On the other hand, Iranian media reported that multiple explosions were heard in southern regions of Iran, including Hormozgan province, Bandar Abbas, and Sirik Island, with air defense systems intercepting attacks near Bandar Abbas. Iranian media further reported that power supply was disrupted in Chabahar city following the explosions, and blasts were also heard in the Bushehr province of southern Iran.
