Two Year Old Boy Abducted and Brutally Murdered in Sahianwala as Five Year Old Brother Escapes

Faisalabad: October 29 (DIGITAL ITLA) — In a horrific and tragic incident in the Sahianwala area of Faisalabad, a two-year-old toddler was brutally murdered with a knife following his abduction, while his five-year-old elder brother narrowly escaped by fleeing the crime scene.

According to police sources, the suspect, identified as Haris, lured two minor brothers—two-year-old Zohan and five-year-old Rohan—on the pretext of buying them sweets and abducted them to a nearby canal bank. At the location, the suspect launched a deadly knife attack on two-year-old Zohan, killing him on the spot. However, the five-year-old brother, Rohan, managed to run away from the spot and saved his life. Preliminary police investigations revealed that the suspect wanted to marry the children's mother and committed the heinous act out of deep-seated grudge and vengeance after she was married elsewhere.

Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and shifted it to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a formal criminal case against the suspect and launched targeted raids across various locations to track down and arrest the fleeing accused, Haris.
