Faisalabad: October 28 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Security guards belonging to a renowned private security firm staged a protest demonstration at the main gate of the Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) over the non-payment of their pending salaries.
During the demonstration, the aggrieved security personnel highlighted that the prolonged withholding of their wages amid rising inflation has pushed them into extreme financial distress. They stated that the lack of income has rendered them unable to cover essential household expenses, school fees for their children, and utility bills, severely disrupting their daily lives.
The protesting guards lamented that despite performing demanding round-the-clock duties to safeguard industrial facilities, they are forced onto the streets to demand their legitimate rights. They urged the FIEDMC management to immediately intervene, contact the security agency concerned, and enforce the swift clearance of all outstanding salaries.
