Cologne: 15 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): In an unusual and alarming incident in Cologne, Germany, police have impounded a robot after it was allegedly used to sexually harass a 16-year-old girl. Authorities have launched a formal investigation into the matter.
According to Cologne Police, the incident took place overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Investigations reveal that the robot's 16-year-old suspect owner and his 19-year-old accomplice allegedly recorded the entire incident.
Police stated that the two youths also reportedly live-streamed the incident online while making derogatory comments. Law enforcement officials have confiscated the robot and initiated legal proceedings against both suspects alongside digital forensic evaluations.
