Police Take Dual Action Over Police Van TikTok Video; Suspects Arrested, Negligent Driver Penalized

Faisalabad: October 30, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Faisalabad Police have taken decisive dual action regarding the unauthorized recording of a TikTok video involving an official Airport Police vehicle, apprehending the two youths involved while simultaneously penalizing the negligent police driver.

According to details, the suspects, identified as Asad and Sabir, unlawfully filmed and uploaded a TikTok video with an official police mobile in a bid for social media fame. Following the viral video, SHO Airport Waseem Tariq launched a swift operation, arresting both suspects and initiating formal legal proceedings against them.

Concurrently, City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain took strict notice of the security breach and ordered SP Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmad to conduct a formal departmental inquiry. Upon concluding the probe, which found the police vehicle left unattended due to dereliction of duty, SP Iqbal Division issued orders forfeiting one year of service for the vehicle's driver, Constable Javed Iqbal.

CPO Tanveer Hussain emphasized that misuse of government assets by private individuals will not be tolerated, nor will negligence or violation of force protocols by police personnel be spared under any circumstances.
