RAWALPINDI: November 9, 2026 (Digital Itla) — In a major development regarding the murder case of 92 News anchorperson Rabia Ahsan, her arrested husband, Ahsan Tahir, claimed during initial police interrogation that the fatal shooting was accidental.

According to police sources, the suspect, identified as a Grade-18 government officer, asserted in his preliminary statement that he was handling a firearm when it accidentally discharged, hitting Rabia Ahsan and resulting in her death.
