CCD Intercepts Nationally Wanted 'Jaisal Baloch Gang' in Chiniot; 2 Notorious Criminals Killed

CHINIOT: Nov 7 (Digital Itla) — The Crime Control Department (CCD) achieved a major breakthrough in countering organized crime by intercepting the nationally wanted "Jaisal Baloch Gang" in Chiniot with the aid of Safe City cameras, officials confirmed on Saturday. Two top gang members were subsequently killed in firing by their own accomplices during a recovery operation.

According to details, following the snatching of a Honda Civic in Karachi on October 12, tracking was initiated using Safe City surveillance cameras. After narrowly escaping an interception attempt in Jhang on November 3, the CCD Chiniot team successfully intercepted the suspects on November 6. The gang's ringleader, Jaisal Baloch, and his associate, Ali Ashraf, were apprehended.

Later, while being escorted for crime scene identification and recovery, their armed accomplices ambushed the police party, resulting in both detained suspects being fatally shot by their own associates' gunfire. Official records show Jaisal Baloch was wanted in 74 cases of robbery and vehicle snatching, while Ali Ashraf was nominated in 92 criminal cases. CCD authorities reaffirmed that unyielding operations will continue against organized crime networks to safeguard public life and property.
