Zero Tolerance for Crimes Against Women: Faisalabad Police Arrest Key Suspect for Harassment

Faisalabad: November 2, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Upholding a firm stance on public safety, Faisalabad Police executed a prompt operation resulting in the arrest of a principal suspect involved in harassing and intimidating a woman inside her workplace.

According to details, the accused, identified as Hasnat, unlawfully entered the office premises of a female victim named Zainab, where he harassed her and issued severe threats. Taking immediate action upon the complaint, SHO Gulberg Police Station Abdul Ghaffar and his team raided the location and apprehended the primary suspect.

Gulberg Police have formally registered a criminal case against the suspect under the relevant sections of the law to initiate further legal prosecution.

Reaffirming the department's operational mandate, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain stated that in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, safeguarding women's rights and ensuring their protection remains a top priority. He emphasized that Faisalabad Police maintains zero tolerance for offenses against women, ensuring that harassers face strict legal action.
