Faisalabad: 15 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): Faisalabad Police have successfully apprehended a dangerous two-member dacoit gang responsible for looting citizens at gunpoint.
According to details, the suspects had recently intercepted and robbed a citizen named Ramzan of PKR 150,000 in cash at gunpoint before fleeing the scene. Taking strict notice of the incident, SHO Police Station Theikriwala Afzal utilized advanced technical resources and scientific investigative methods to track down and apprehend the culprits.
A spokesperson for Faisalabad Police stated that the arrested suspects have been identified as Sajjad and Ihsan. Police have successfully recovered the looted cash and stolen valuables from their possession, while further investigations regarding their involvement in other criminal activities are currently underway.
Reiterating the administration's stance, the City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy will continue against elements involved in heinous crimes such as dacoity and robbery, ensuring the complete protection of citizens' life and property.
