Senator Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali Meets DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry; Discusses Urban Development & Civic Issues

Faisalabad: November 3, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Senator Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali met with Director General Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry to deliberate on urban infrastructure projects and municipal service delivery. PML-N leader Imran Sher Ali alongside party delegates was also present during the discussion.

Welcoming Senator Abid Sher Ali, DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry presented an overview of the ongoing development framework, institutional reforms, and future urban projects aimed at transforming Faisalabad's civic infrastructure. DG FDA emphasized that comprehensive administrative reforms—centered on transparency, merit, and complete digitization—are being implemented to optimize service delivery for the general public.

During the meeting, Senator Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali drew attention to pressing municipal and development issues faced by the residents of Ahmad Nagar, urging the authority to grant immediate relief. He lauded the ongoing digitalization drive and governance reforms under the current FDA management, noting that competent leadership is vital to making public institutions responsive.

In response, DG FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry assured that the concerns of Ahmad Nagar residents would be thoroughly evaluated within legal and statutory parameters. He directed Director Estate Management-I Junaid Hassan Munj to immediately review the highlighted issues and devise a sustainable resolution.
