NCCIA Arrests Suspect in Faisalabad’s Pansera Area for WhatsApp Hacking and Rs 1.3 Million Fraud

FAISALABAD: Nov 5 (Digital Itla) — The National Counter Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Islamabad conducted a targeted raid in the Pansera area of Faisalabad, arresting a suspect allegedly involved in WhatsApp hacking and financial fraud worth PKR 1.3 million, officials said on Thursday.

According to initial reports, the suspect impersonated a representative of a courier company to gain unauthorized access to the complainant's WhatsApp account, subsequently defrauding the victim of PKR 1.3 million.

NCCIA officials confirmed that the suspect was traced through digital forensics and taken into custody in Pansera. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to uncover additional details.
