FAISALABAD: Nov 4 (Digital Itla) — Faisalabad police have arrested a proclaimed offender who was wanted for the murder of a brick kiln owner a year ago, officials said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the suspect, identified as Faisal, along with his accomplices, had allegedly shot and killed a brick kiln owner named Ashraf one year ago. Police revealed that the suspects targeted Ashraf on suspicion of supporting their rivals and assisting in the prosecution of a prior legal case.
A police team led by Inspector Muzaffar Ali, Station House Officer (SHO) of City Jaranwala Police Station, traced and apprehended the fugitive.
The City Police Officer (CPO) of Faisalabad stated that suspects involved in heinous crimes cannot evade the grip of the law, affirming that the arrested suspect will face strict legal action.
