FAISALABAD: Nov 4 (Digital Itla) — Police in Faisalabad have arrested a man accused of attacking and wounding his brother-in-law with an ax over a property dispute, officials said on Wednesday.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Joseph, along with his sister and nephew, attacked Rauf Masih with an ax out of greed for house ownership, leaving him critically injured.
A police team led by Inspector Sajid Mahmood, Station House Officer (SHO) of Nishatabad Police Station, acted swiftly to apprehend Joseph.
The City Police Officer (CPO) of Faisalabad stated that violence against citizens will not be tolerated under any circumstances, asserting that elements who take the law into their own hands will be dealt with an iron fist.
