Major Crackdown Against Kite Flying; Confiscated Material Worth Hundreds of Thousands Incinerated

Faisalabad: October 26 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Following strict directives from City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain, Faisalabad Police have intensified their crackdown on kite flying, manufacturing, and the sale of hazardous chemical strings. As part of the ongoing operations, police incinerated seized material worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

According to details, SHO Mansoorabad Police Station, Tauqeer Akhtar, after obtaining formal legal approval from the area Magistrate, destroyed the confiscated kites and dangerous spools outside the police station premises.

Speaking on the occasion, CPO Tanveer Hussain asserted that no leniency would be shown to elements involved in this lethal activity, confirming that targeted operations across the district will continue unabated.
