ISLAMABAD: 20 Oct (Digital Itla) The primary accused involved in the fraud case against student Laiba Ijaz was killed after being caught in firing by his own accomplices within the jurisdiction of Ramna Police Station.
According to the Islamabad Police spokesperson, a police party was escorting the suspect, Muhammad Noman, for evidence recovery when his armed accomplices opened fire on the police personnel in an attempt to break him free from custody.
During the exchange of fire, the suspect, Muhammad Noman, sustained critical gunshot injuries from his own fleeing accomplices and subsequently succumbed to his wounds. Police have cordoned off the surrounding area and launched a comprehensive search operation to trace and apprehend the fleeing suspects.
