Faisalabad: November 3, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Executing a targeted intelligence-led operation under the direct supervision of City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain, Faisalabad Police successfully solved a high-profile double murder case by apprehending both primary suspects involved in the shooting.
According to operational details, suspects Ghulam Murtaza and Bilal opened fire over a prior enmity, resulting in the instant deaths of citizens Ikram Billa and Iqbal. Taking strict notice of the violent crime, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain assigned the arrest task to Superintendent of Police (SP) Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmad.
Under the guidance of SP Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmad, SHO Thekriwala Police Station Afzaal Ahmad along with his team deployed technical surveillance and field intelligence networks, tracing down and arresting both principal suspects, Ghulam Murtaza and Bilal.
Thekriwala Police have initiated complete legal proceedings and formal investigation against the arrested suspects while pursuing the recovery of weapons used in the incident.
Commending the police contingents for resolving the double murder case, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain ordered the investigation team to compile forensic and physical evidence to establish a foolproof prosecution case. CPO Tanveer Hussain reaffirmed that the police force will ensure maximum conviction in court to deliver justice to the victims' families.
