FAISALABAD: November 8, 2026 (Digital Itla) — A fire broke out at Al-Rehman Chemical Factory in the FIDC area of Chak Jhumra, leaving two workers unconscious due to smoke inhalation.
According to details, the blaze erupted in drums containing xylene chemical. Rescue 1122 teams promptly responded to the scene and brought the fire under control. The affected workers, identified as 22-year-old Arman and 35-year-old Adeel, received first aid before being shifted to THQ Hospital Chak Jhumra.
Rescue officials confirmed no loss of life occurred. According to the factory owner, the fire was triggered by power lines running directly above the chemical drums.
