Annual Inflation Rate Stood at 11.07% in June 2026: Pakistan Bureau of Statistics

(Digital Itla) – According to the inflation report released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the annual inflation rate in the country was recorded at 11.07% in June 2026. The report noted that the inflation rate in June aligned with the Ministry of Finance's estimate of 11% to 12%.

According to the PBS, a monthly decrease of 0.30% in inflation was recorded in June compared to May, while the annual inflation rate in May stood at 11.66%. Inflation in the country reached its highest level in two years.

Last month, inflation in rural areas dropped by 0.03% on a monthly basis, while monthly inflation in urban areas decreased by 0.47%. According to the Bureau of Statistics, the annual inflation rate in rural areas was recorded at 10.92% in June.
