Gazette Notification for Finance Act 2026–27 Issued; Implementation Begins July 1

(Digital Report) The Federal Government has issued the Gazette Notification for the Finance Act 2026–27, paving the way for the official implementation of the Federal Budget from July 1.

According to the notification, all tax measures, duties, and fiscal decisions included in the 2026–27 budget will come into effect from the beginning of the new fiscal year.

The Finance Bill was earlier approved by the National Assembly and subsequently signed into law by the President. Following presidential assent, the bill was sent to the Printing Corporation of Pakistan for publication in the official Gazette.

With the issuance of the Gazette Notification, the Finance Act 2026–27 has formally become law, and implementation of the new federal budget will commence on July 1.
