District Administration, Police Tighten Belts to Ensure Peaceful Muharram in Faisalabad

(Digital Itla) City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Faisalabad Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir conducted a late-night visit to the route of the main procession. They were accompanied by SP Lyallpur Division, AC City, and other senior officials. During the visit, they reviewed the procession route, entry and exit points, walk-through gates, control rooms, and security deployments.

The officials also inspected modern monitoring systems installed to keep a strict eye on suspicious activities around the procession. CPO Tanveer Hussain and DC Nadeem Nasir emphasized that traffic management, route clearance, and emergency response systems must remain fully functional during the procession to avoid any inconvenience. They warned that no negligence in duties would be tolerated, adding that the police and district administration are working in total coordination to ensure foolproof security. During the visit, they also met with organizers and a traders' delegation to assure them of comprehensive arrangements.
