Bollywood Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s Brother Critically Injured in Attack; Suspect Arrested

(Digital Itla) New Delhi: Wijendra Nath Tiwari, the elder brother of famous Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, was seriously injured in an alleged life-threatening attack in his native village. According to Indian media, the incident took place in the Gopalganj district of Bihar state over a land dispute. Reports suggest that Wijendra Nath Tiwari was attacked with sticks and sharp-edged weapons, leaving him severely injured.

Following the incident, he was immediately rushed to the Gopalganj Model Hospital, but was later shifted to a hospital in Patna for further treatment. Taking swift action, the police have arrested a key suspect. According to the Superintendent of Police in Gopalganj, the suspect has been identified, and further investigation into the incident is underway. Police stated that the victim's family has not yet lodged a formal written complaint; however, legal action will proceed as soon as the complaint is received. The incident has caused deep concern in the local area and among the actor's fans.
