15-Member Indian Squad Announced for ODI Series Against England

(Digital Itla) The Indian squad will be led by young opener Shubman Gill, while Shreyas Iyer has been appointed as the vice-captain. Veteran batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are also part of the team. KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan have been included in the squad as wicketkeepers. The all-rounders include Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.  In the bowling department, opportunities have been given to Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Gurnoor Brar. Indian cricket team batter Virat Kohli previously missed the series against Afghanistan due to a hamstring injury. Hardik Pandya was not included due to fitness issues, while Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped. The three ODI matches between India and England will be played on July 14, 16, and 19 in England.
