Plane Crashes During Landing; Ubisoft Co-Founder Claude Guillemot Passes Away

(Digital Itla) Claude Guillemot, the co-founder of the world-renowned video game manufacturing company Ubisoft, has passed away in a plane crash that occurred in western France.
According to authorities, a small twin-engine Cessna 421 aircraft met with an accident last evening. Claude Guillemot and a training pilot were on board the plane. The accident occurred during landing near the La Baule Airport, located on the Atlantic coast, resulting in both individuals losing their lives on the spot. Local Mayor Franck Louvrier stated that both individuals were experienced and properly licensed pilots. An investigation has been launched to determine the causes of the crash. Ubisoft confirmed the death of Claude Guillemot; however, the company did not comment further.
Claude Guillemot founded Ubisoft in 1986 along with his four brothers. The company developed world-famous video game franchises known as "Assassin's Creed", "Just Dance", "Rayman", and "Tom Clancy", which are loved by hundreds of millions of people. The death of Claude Guillemot in the plane crash is being termed a major loss for the video game industry.
