(Digital Itla) Qatar has formally announced that talks between the United States and Iran have commenced in Switzerland. According to the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Doha, the US-Iran negotiations have started in Switzerland under the mediation of Pakistan and Qatar.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that these meetings would lead to a comprehensive and permanent agreement incorporating all points of the memorandum of understanding. It is worth noting that delegations from Pakistan, Iran, and the United States have arrived in Switzerland for the second phase of the Iran-US ceasefire talks. From Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will participate in the technical-level talks in Switzerland today.
