PML-N Lawmaker Suggests Placing Nawaz Sharif’s Picture Alongside Quaid-e-Azam on Currency Notes

(Digital Itla) Lahore: During a session of the Punjab Assembly, PML-N MPA Arshad Malik demanded that Nawaz Sharif’s picture be included alongside Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the 5,000 rupee note. According to details, Arshad Malik stood up at his seat in the house, waved a 5,000 rupee note, and asserted that it should feature the picture of Nawaz Sharif next to the founder of Pakistan. He argued that Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a nuclear power and played a vital role in the country's progress. Malik added that during Nawaz Sharif's tenure, a network of roads was laid across the country, steering Pakistan onto the path of development.
