(Digital Itla) A total of five people lost their lives in two separate traffic accidents that occurred in Chichawatni and Jaranwala, leaving an atmosphere of grief and mourning in the areas. Near Chak No. 48/12-L within the limits of Okanwala Bangla Police Station in Chichawatni, speeding motorcycle riders crashed into a tree. According to rescue sources, two youth died on the spot as a result of the accident. It was reported that both youth were heading from their village toward the city when this tragic accident occurred. Rescue 1122 and the police reached the spot, shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, and completed initial proceedings, while the police have started a further investigation into the incident. On the other hand, a horrific collision between a tractor-trolley and a motorcycle on the Roshan Wali Jhal Bypass Road in Jaranwala claimed the lives of three members of the same family. According to rescue sources, a father was traveling on a motorcycle along with his two sons when a fast-approaching trolley coming from behind crushed them, resulting in all three passing away on the spot. The deceased include 26-year-old Nadeem, 7-year-old Ahmad, and 2-year-old Rahmat. The rescue team handed over the bodies to the police after completing the necessary procedures.
