(Digital Itla) Islamabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided not to make the central contracts of national team players public. The number of players receiving the central contract and their respective categories will be kept confidential. The PCB states that the contracts awarded in each track will not be brought to light, and the number of players in the central contract along with their division is a matter of selection. Different conditions for domestic cricket have also been set for central contract players; contracted players are required to play First-Class, List A, and T20 matches according to their track. According to sources, players have been informed about the number of domestic matches they need to play, with the likelihood of keeping First-Class matches up to 5 and List A matches up to 10. Players have also been told to remain available for domestic cricket even in the absence of international assignments, and players included in the central contract will be eligible to play all three formats. Sources say that if needed, a player from any track can be included in the team.
