5 Terrorists Killed in Exchange of Fire with CTD in Attock

(Digital Itla) Five terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). According to a spokesperson, the exchange of fire between the CTD and terrorists took place near the border area of Attock, resulting in the death of 5 terrorists belonging to 'Fitna al-Khawarij' during the encounter. According to authorities, the CTD conducted an intelligence-based operation to arrest the terrorists, who then opened fire on the CTD team. In the retaliatory fire, 5 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists were killed. According to the statement, the process of identifying the deceased terrorists is underway. A suicide jacket, hand grenades, SMG rifles, bullets, and explosive materials were recovered from the terrorists. Authorities further added that investigations regarding the identity of the terrorists and their potential network are ongoing, while a search operation is also being conducted in the area to trace any potential facilitators or elements that may have fled.
