(Digital Itla) Three cases have been registered against PML-N MPA Saqib following a PKR 270 million fraud involving a cancer patient, where three checks worth PKR 270 million bounced. According to details, three different cases under charges of check dishonor and fraud have been registered in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, against Punjab Assembly Member (MPA) Saqib Chadhar. Police sources revealed that these cases were registered at the Defence A Police Station in Lahore on the complaint of a woman named Mahrukh Arif. According to the FIRs, a total of three checks worth PKR 270 million were dishonored. The affected woman, Mahrukh Arif, stated in the FIR that she is a cancer patient and had decided to sell her property to fund her treatment and other needs. She contacted PML-N MPA Saqib Khan for the sale of the property. The woman stated that she settled a deal for her property located on Davis Road, worth PKR 600 million, with two suspects named Saqib Khan and Akbar Khan. In exchange for the deal, the suspects gave her three checks of PKR 90 million each, totaling PKR 270 million. The text of the FIR states that when the victim deposited the checks into the bank, all three bounced due to insufficient funds in the suspects' accounts. When the woman demanded her money from MPA Saqib Khan and the other suspect, they flatly refused to return the amount. The police have registered formal cases on the complaint of the cancer-stricken woman against PML-N MPA Saqib Khan and his associate Akbar Khan, launching a legal investigation.
