India: Kuki-Meitei Conflict Intensifies in Manipur

13 June 2026

(Digital Itla) Modi has been watching the ethnic war unfold in Manipur for the last three years. Modi’s cruel policies have turned a once-cheerful Manipur into a graveyard. According to the Indian journal Deccan Herald, the three-year-long conflict in Manipur has resulted in over 260 deaths and forced 60,000 people to flee their homes. The Kuki group has demanded an immediate separate administration to prevent further bloodshed in Manipur. Due to the incompetence of the Modi government, the old land dispute between the Kuki and Naga tribes has reignited. The Modi regime is pushing Manipur back into the horrific, bloody history of the 1990s. According to international experts, Modi, who supports anti-Pakistan groups in Azad Kashmir, has found himself helpless over the deteriorating situation in Manipur. The innocent public, who voted heavily to give him power, is suffering under Modi's lie-based governance.
