13 June 2026

(Digital Itla) Twenty-one terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij (formerly TTP) were killed in a fierce clash with security forces. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, high-profile Khariji ringleaders—identified as Khalid, Maftoon, Musa, and Imran—were among the dead. A total of 48 Khariji terrorists have been eliminated during extensive operations conducted over the last 72 hours.

President Asif Ali Zardari paid rich tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against Fitna al-Khawarij, stating that the elimination of these ringleaders is a major victory against the terrorist network. President Zardari added that the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its brave security forces. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that the security forces sent numerous terrorists, including 4 highly wanted Khariji commanders, to hell. He emphasized that under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, the armed forces are achieving major breakthroughs, and this war will continue until terrorism is completely eradicated. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also lauded the forces for the successful operation against Indian-backed terrorists in Miranshah, saluting the brave sons of the soil for foiling the nefarious designs of the Khawarij.
