Faisalabad: November 2, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Following the direct orders of City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain to apprehend proclaimed offenders involved in financial fraud, Sadr Police Faisalabad successfully arrested a wanted criminal involved in defrauding a widow.
According to operational details, a police team led by SHO Sadr Police Station Muhammad Ali tracked down and arrested suspect Shahid Javed, who had been absconding from law enforcement for the past six years. Official records confirm that six years ago, accused Shahid Javed extorted a substantial amount of money from a widow, Rukhsana Bibi, under the guise of an advance token payment for a property sale.
The victim subsequently verified the official land records, discovering that the property was registered under another individual's ownership and that the suspect had intentionally swindled her. Sadr Police have taken the suspect into custody to initiate formal legal prosecution. Interrogation is currently underway to ensure the full recovery of the extorted funds.
Commending the police team, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain stated that elements exploiting innocent citizens—especially vulnerable widows—will face strict, uncompromising justice under the law. He reaffirmed that Faisalabad Police will continue its relentless enforcement against economic offenses and property crimes across the division.
