Faisalabad: October 30, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Faisalabad Police took swift action against violent elements, arresting a primary suspect involved in physically assaulting a father and his son with an axe following a minor dispute.
According to details, the conflict arose when the victim stopped the accused from unlawfully assembling and loitering in the street with young men. Aggrieved by this, the suspect, Abubakar, along with his accomplices, confronted and brutally attacked Muhammad Afzal and his son Mujahid with an axe. Upon receiving information, SHO City Samundri Iqbal Fareed led a police team to apprehend the main accused, Abubakar, and initiated formal legal proceedings.
Police are conducting targeted raids to track down and arrest the remaining fleeing accomplices. CPO Faisalabad emphasized that violence, harassment, and lawlessness against citizens will not be tolerated under any circumstances, asserting that all culprits will face the full weight of the law.
