Lahore Family Court Grants Khula to Actor Moammar Rana's Wife After 28 Years of Marriage

Lahore / Faisalabad: October 31, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — A Lahore Family Court has officially dissolved the 28-year-long marriage of renowned film actor Moammar Rana, granting a decree of Khula (dissolution of marriage) in favor of his wife, Mehnaz.

According to details, Family Court Judge Zahid Bashir issued the verdict following legal arguments presented by Advocate Khadija Siddiqi on behalf of the petitioner, Mehnaz. In her petition, Mehnaz stated that Moammar Rana subjected her to physical assault, verbal abuse, and domestic violence under the influence of alcohol. She alleged that on multiple occasions, the actor resorted to profanity and erratic behavior in front of their daughters, subjecting the children to severe mental trauma and mistreatment.

The petitioner further disclosed that the actor had refused to bear household financial obligations. She highlighted that family members made several intervention attempts to rectify his behavior and urged him to seek professional treatment or rehabilitation, but he adamantly refused. After examining the claims and legal arguments, the family court granted the Khula decree to Mehnaz.
