FAISALABAD: Nov 7 (Digital Itla) — Country Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Pakistan, Mr. Geir Thomas Tonstol, alongside ILO Governing Body Member and General Secretary of Pakistan United Workers Federation Chaudhry Saad Muhammad, visited Social Security Hospital Madina Town on Saturday.
The delegation was received by Medical Superintendent Dr. Abdul Rauf Sheikh, AMS Dr. Sumbul Sabir, Dr. Muhammad Ehsan, DMS (Admin) Dr. Zeeshan Muhammad Ali, MS (MNCH) Dr. Abdul Rehman, DMS Dr. Kashif Naveed, Directors Recovery (East, West, North), and labor leader Mian Rab Nawaz Wattoo. The visitors initiated a plantation drive by planting a sapling on the hospital campus before visiting the reception area, Cardiology/CCU wards, Dialysis Center, and MNCH Nursery Ward to review patient care and clinical services.
During a formal presentation ceremony held at the hospital’s CPC Hall, the ILO Country Director lauded the management's dedication, praising the hospital's serene environment and high standards of cleanliness. The visit concluded with MS Dr. Abdul Rauf Sheikh presenting commemorative shields to Mr. Geir Thomas Tonstol and Chaudhry Saad Muhammad in recognition of their services to labor welfare.
