Faisalabad: October 31, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Acting on the direct orders of Director FIA Faisalabad Zone Saqib Sultan and under the supervision of Deputy Director FIA Faisalabad Circle Hasham Raza, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) executed a major operation against counterfeit products and copyright violations, busting a fake beauty soap manufacturing facility and arresting one suspect.
According to details, an FIA operational team led by Inspector Shabana Munir raided the factory where counterfeit soaps mimicking the well-known brand "LEXONA" were being produced. During the raid, authorities seized 33,600 counterfeit soap bars along with 15 rolls of branded packaging material. The team arrested one suspect on the spot and registered a formal case under the Copyright Ordinance 1962.
According to FIA Zone spokesperson Inspector Faryal Khan, a comprehensive investigation has been initiated to trace the distribution network and supply chains of these fake goods. FIA officials reaffirmed their resolve to continue strict legal crackdowns against entities engaged in copyright infringement, counterfeiting, and public welfare risks.
