Faisalabad 16 Oct 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA): Taking swift operational action against violent crime, Balochni Police have arrested a suspect who opened fire and critically injured a citizen over a prior dispute.
According to details, the suspect, identified as Shehnam, opened fire on a resident named Aamir Bashir due to an ongoing personal grudge, leaving him injured. Responding promptly, SHO Balochni Mohsin Harlal spearheaded a police team and apprehended the fleeing suspect Shehnam.
A spokesperson for Faisalabad Police confirmed that formal legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested accused following the registration of a criminal case.
Reiterating a firm stance against violent offenders, City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain asserted that suspects involved in heinous crimes will be prosecuted through courts to ensure exemplary punishment.
