Faisalabad: November 1, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Following strict directives from the City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad, local police launched a targeted crackdown against the illegal sale, purchase, and storage of pyrotechnics, resulting in the arrest of four suspects across the district.
According to details, police teams from Khurrianwala and Sandal Bar police stations conducted coordinated raids in their respective jurisdictions. During the operations, four suspects—identified as Ali Razaq, Asif, Nasir Ali, and Zulfiqar—were apprehended red-handed while selling illegal fireworks and explosive materials.
Police recovered a substantial quantity of dangerous pyrotechnics and fireworks from the possession of the accused. Formal legal cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the relevant explosive and sound system regulation acts, initiating further legal prosecution.
Reaffirming a strict policy, CPO Faisalabad emphasized that lawbreakers who endanger public safety and disturb civil peace will face uncompromising action. He directed all SHOs to maintain zero tolerance against anyone involved in manufacturing, storing, or selling illegal fireworks across the division.
