Faisalabad: November 3, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Executing directives issued by City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain against impersonators and tout networks, Factory Area Police arrested an impersonator posing as an operational Dolphin Squad police officer.
According to police details, Factory Area Police acted swiftly upon receiving actionable intelligence, apprehending suspect Shahzaib on the spot. The accused utilized the official Dolphin Force uniform and law enforcement emblems to pose as a police officer, attempting to deceive citizens and extract unlawful gains under the guise of an operational officer.
Factory Area Police have formally registered a criminal FIR against Shahzaib under relevant statutory provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and initiated detailed legal proceedings.
Issuing a stern warning, CPO Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain affirmed that no leniency will be extended to individuals exploiting official police uniforms or misrepresenting public authority. CPO Tanveer Hussain asserted that touts and fake public officers will face zero tolerance across the district, reiterating that Faisalabad Police will strictly enforce the law against those compromising institutional integrity.
