FIA Sargodha Circle Cracks Down on Human Trafficking & Illegal Immigration: Case Registered Against 2 Suspects
Faisalabad / Sargodha: November 3, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — Pursuant to strict operational directives issued by Director FIA Faisalabad Zone Saqib Sultan Al Mahmood, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified its enforcement drive against human trafficking and illegal immigration syndicates, registering a formal criminal case against two suspects in Sargodha.
According to official details, intelligence leads processed by the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Sargodha revealed that suspects identified as Aman Mian and Ghulam Abbas were actively attempting unlawful foreign immigration through illicit channels. Preliminary findings indicate that the duo engaged human smugglers/agents by paying exorbitant sums of money to arrange clandestine transit routes across multiple international jurisdictions to reach their destination illegally.
Upon evaluating verified evidence, FIA Sargodha formally registered FIR No. C/74/2025 against both suspects under Sections 17(1) and 22 of the Immigration Ordinance 1979, read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Smuggling of Migrants Act (PSMA) 2018.
Director FIA Faisalabad Zone Saqib Sultan Al Mahmood affirmed that a comprehensive probe is underway to track down the network of human traffickers and illegal agents facilitating the operation. He reiterated that the FIA maintains zero tolerance for human smuggling rings that jeopardize lives and operate unlawful migration channels across the region.
