CPO Tanveer Hussain Holds Open Court (Khuli Katchery) for Immediate Redressal of Public Grievances

Faisalabad: November 3, 2026 (DIGITAL ITLA) — In line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's directive regarding public access and transparent governance, City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Tanveer Hussain held an Open Court (Khuli Katchery) at the CPO Office to directly resolve public complaints.

During the open court session, CPO Tanveer Hussain personally interacted with citizens arriving from across the district, listening individually to their grievances concerning pending investigations, police station services, and legal petitions. To ensure immediate relief, the CPO issued on-the-spot directives to concerned Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), SHOs, and branch heads.

CPO Tanveer Hussain mandated that all public applications must be processed strictly on merit within designated statutory timelines. He emphasized that improving police station culture and elevating front-desk service standards remain key operational goals for the Faisalabad Police force.

Addressing the gathering, CPO Faisalabad reiterated that administrative delinquency, procedural delay, or negligence in providing justice to citizens will attract strict disciplinary action. He affirmed that establishing accessible, transparent, and prompt public relief mechanisms is vital to reinforcing community trust in police administration.
